Title:Main Title: Monitoring of soil water content Salar Grande
Description:Abstract: Volumetric water content and temperature of near-surface sediment layers was monitored on hillslopes west of Salar Grande between February 2018 and March 2019 using SMT100 sensors. At this site, tongue-shaped fine sediment lobes stretch down the northermost scarp of the Chuculay Fault System. Measurements were carried out in two separate sediment profiles of ~10 cm, with 3 sensors per profile. In each profile, one sensor was placed at 3 cm below the surface, one at 6 cm below the surface, and one at 9 cm below the surface.
