| Description: | Abstract: This file contains results of sedimentological and geochemical investigations carried out on samples from trench T3 and parallel core P3, taken from a tongue-shaped, 50 m-long and 30 m-wide fine sediment lobe located along a 10-30° steep thrust-related slope east of the Salar Grande (Chuculay Fault, Atacama, Chile). The sediment lobes are thought to represent one of only few sediment records recording paleoclimatic changes in the central desert, independent from Andean rainfall. |
