| Description: | Abstract: This file contains the accumulated results of all grain size measurements condcuted on sediment samples taken by subproject C02 in the first phase of the CRC1211. Data is stored in a csv-file. Samples were analyzed by laser diffractometry using a Beckman Coulter LS 13 320 Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer. Shown in the table are - besides the laboratory ID (LabID), sample ID, latitude (Lat) and longitude (Long) of the sample location, and depth of the sample (in cm, or SS - unspecified surface sample, DS - unspecified depth sample) - the grain size distributions for 10 grain size classes (<0.2 µm, 0.2 - <0.63 µm, 0.63 - <2 µm, 2 - <6.3 µm, 6.3 - <20 µm, 20 - <36 µm, 36 - <63 µm, 63 - <200 µm, 200 - <630 µm, 630 - <2000 µm) in percent. Note that "°" is shown in the file as "ø" and "µm" as "æm" in percent. See dataset "C02 - sample location and types (geodata)" for more details concerning sample location. |
