| Description: | Abstract: This file contains the accumulated results of the elemental compositions of all sediment samples taken and analyzed using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy (SPECTRO XEPOS spectrometer) by subproject C02 in the first phase of the CRC1211. All samples were sieved to <63 µm and pressed to pellets prior to measurement. Every sample is measured twice. Data is stored in a xlsx-file and is shown on the first sheet in the elemental mode and on the second sheet in oxide mode. Shown in the tables are - besides the laboratory ID, sample ID, latitude (Lat) and longitude (Long) of the sample location, and depth of the sample (Tiefe; in cm, or SS - unspecified surface sample, DS - unspecified depth sample) - remarks for special sample treatment (Beschreibung), the method (Methode), date of assessment (Auswertung), and concentrations of all major and minor elements detectable with this method including the error of each measurement (in mg/kg for element mode, in % for oxide mode), as well as the sum concentration of detected elements.
