| Description: | Abstract: We have compiled geological maps of Chile. These four maps have a scale of 1:50k. Geological information from the Cerro de la Mica, Cerro Posada, Oficina Prosperidad and Quillaqua regions is available on the maps. These maps are produced by the Instituto de investigations Geologicas. These maps can also be found in WebGIS. These maps are georeferenced. So there may be small inaccuracies in the position. The maps can be used for orientation, to determine the local names of points of interest and for wayfinding. |
