| Description: | Abstract: We have compiled military maps of Namibia. These four maps have a scale of 1:500k. Military information from the Alexander bay, Kalahari, Lüderitz Bucht and Upington regions is available on the maps. These maps can also be found in WebGIS. The military maps were produced by Joint Operations Graphic (Air) in 1985.These maps are Tactical Pilotage Charts. These maps are georeferenced. So there may be small inaccuracies in the position. The maps can be used for orientation, to determine the local names of points of interest and for wayfinding. |
