Welcome to the CRC1211DB

The CRC1211DB is the project-database of the Collaborative Research Centre 1211 funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The database is able to archive and provide all research data that are created by the project participants. This includes measured/modeled data, reports, presentations, publications, and pictures. In addition, purchased geodata is available for the project participants. All data is provided with corresponding metadata. Depending on the respective rights, the download access may be restricted.

March 16^th, 2023
A training session for data management and data delivery to the CRC1211DB will be held on *Wednesday 29^th of March 2023* (from 10h to 12h). For more information and registration see the internal email.

September 21^st, 2021
The browser-based upload feature has been revamped and now supports files up to 6GB in size. It can be found under User Home -> Upload Data.

March 18^th, 2021
The system was succesfully changed to version 5.0 with new features (e.g. updated Metadata Wizard, modified Search Features, etc.).

March 10^th, 2021
The CRC1211DB will be under construction due to technical updates on March 16th-17th, 2021.

Our data repository was successfully registered at re3data.org and we have updated the site-based statistic counter to the Matomo counter hosted by the RRZK, as the old one has caused problems on specific browsers.

The WebGIS is now online for registered users. It contains mostly all available data of our research area.

April 6^th, 2018
Metadata Schema is now conform to Datacite Metadata Schema 4.1. DOI application wizard and metadata presentation have been updated accordingly.

March 1^st, 2018
CRC1211DB has been updated with new features. For example application of CRC1211DB-DOIs is now possible.

August 22^nd, 2017
A grant of high-resolution imagery was provided by the DigitalGlobe Foundation. The imagery will allow to study the sparse vegetation distribution in the Atacama desert in more detail.

July 19^th, 2017
